Hello and welcome to the 12th episode of Movie Requests! This is the series where I take film suggestions from celebrities, I watch those movies, and I report my thoughts on them! This series is being done to recognize 10 years of Scene Before, and will feature 15 guests who each requested their own movie for me to review.

As a reminder, you can watch the full episodes here on Flicknerd.com, but the main base for the episodes happens to be my YouTube channel. Please like the video there if you enjoyed it, subscribe to my channel, and hit the notification bell if you want to see more!

Today’s guest is one of the funniest people I have ever seen on television, Joe Gatto! Formerly one of the stars of “Impractical Jokers,” Gatto is practically built to make people laugh through his unprecedented range. From subtle line delivery to an occasionally obnoxious commitment to the bit, Gatto’s knack for humor never disappoints. You can catch him now on his comedy tour, including some dates with fellow comedian Drew Lynch.

For today’s review, Gatto requested I should watch “Gringo,” a dark comedy from 2018 released by Amazon Studios. Like “Roma,” which I reviewed a couple episodes ago, this is not my first time watching the movie. I have a written review of the film from when I first watched it. But if I am being honest, I am happier with the outcome of this newer one.

The next guest in the series is going to be comedian Adam Conover! What movie do you think he suggested?
