Hello, everyone! Welcome to the tenth episode of “Movie Requests!” This is the series where I take film suggestions from celebrities and see if our opinions match!

Today’s review is going to be a first in the series. Because today’s film is one that I reviewed back when it came out. That film being “Roma.” I saw it once in theaters and loved it. I have since bought the film on Blu-ray, but for whatever reason never put it in the player until now. You’ll have to find out for yourself if it holds up.

Today’s guest is Melissa Barrera! You may know her from television shows including “The Copenhagen Test” and “Keep Breathing.” You may also know her from films including “Abigail” and “In the Heights.” She is currently starring as Rose in the Broadway musical comedy “Titanique,” which is absolutely hilarious and expertly done. It only has a couple weeks left before it goes away, so check it out!

I should also note, for those who had a conspiracy theory as to whether the request videos for this series are scripted, the one I recorded this time around should suggest otherwise. When I pitched this series to Melissa, I wanted to be quick as it was late at night and she probably wanted to go home. She just finished a live show in which she is prominently featured, so that is understandable. When I gave Melissa my list of movies that were already taken, she thought I was telling her which movie she should pick. So, you will hear one suggestion in the video that gets rejected off the bat. Judging by the title of this post, you should probably have a guess as to what movie she picks next.
