The Jack Awards is a Scene Before tradition that celebrates the best in film. Think of it as a poor man’s version of the Oscars where no actual awards are handed out, no celebrity guests show up, and you are just with the Movie Reviewing Moron for tens of thousands of words… Combining text and video, these shows are long reads that make for some truly ambitious efforts. Each winner is determined by the one Movie Reviewing Moron, except for Best Picture, which is decided through a public poll. The show also hands out two lifetime achievements per year including the Roger Deakins Award and the Stan Lee Award.
